Slice the fleshy part of ripe pawpaw and rub on your face, neck, hands, and legs. Allow it to dry, and then wash it off with cold water. You can do this for three to four times a week.

You can also blend one cup of pawpaw and add one teaspoon of vitamin E oil, honey, and plain yogurt into a paste. Gently massage your skin with the paste and leave for 10 to 15 minutes, before rinsing with cold water.

Note: It is important to note that pawpaw has some natural bleaching properties, so it is advisable to use this remedy mildly to avoid over colouring.

Mash ½ cup of overripe pawpaw thoroughly and mix a few drops of raw honey and one tablespoon of milk.

Studies have shown that the papain enzyme contained in pawpaw have some amazing skin-cleansing properties that help in getting rid of clogged pores.

How to use

Use juice extraction or blender to extract the juice from sliced pieces of pawpaw and use a cotton ball to apply the juice on the affected area of the skin.

Leave it for 10 minutes before washing it off with water. It is advisable to use this remedy once daily to get rid of pimples and acne.
